As seen on Inhabitat's website, this pixelated skyscraper by Design Act, a Singapore-based design firm, is a finalist in a competition to design a pavilion for Singapore in the World Expo 2010.
Made of 3,866 modular cubes in varying sizes and transparency, the illuminated "digital cloud" hovers over a constantly changing field of “green”, inviting visitors to post their dreams on the cubes.
Hmm, I wonder how much would it cost to "characterize Singapore as a progressive land where increasing modernity and reinvention reign supreme"? Made of 3,866 modular cubes in varying sizes and transparency, the illuminated "digital cloud" hovers over a constantly changing field of “green”, inviting visitors to post their dreams on the cubes.
Nonetheless, Singapore will literally be on cloud nine if/when it's pavilion becomes the toast of World Expo 2010.
