For crying out loud

I don't know. Is Kevin Rudd's midair hissy fit such an important piece of news to the Australian public that the good people at Sydney Morning Herald and Daily Telegraph have to shove it down our throat? What is wrong with the Prime Minister throwing a tantrum? If the bloody air hostie cannot take the oral heat, she should just get another job, or spit into Rudd's special meal, or go jump, or whatever. Do something about it. Cry? Is that professionalism? You would think these aircrew are made of sterner stuff, or if not, trained to be so. Painting them as teary damsels is not very reassuring. I mean can we rely on these crying babies if heaven forbid we find ourselves in a mid-air situation where we are told to assume the brace positions? Get a bloody grip, girl.

Enough already!

It is all they would talk about this morning and frankly, if anyone were to ask me one more time what I think about the Obama thingie, I will chuck a juliaroberts at them. @#$%

And can anyone explain to me why on earth would Kevin Rudd "believe" Barack Obama is a "great" man? A "great" man? Well, I don't think so. Greatness comes with history of accomplishments and achievements. Like making a quiche without it collapsing in the middle, for example. Obama to-date has only shown he can win an American election in a climate where there is a dire need for change, it remains to be seen what Obama can and/or cannot do in the next four years.

No doubt it is a great feeling to win the highest office in a country, as Rudd can testify basing on his own experience back in 2007, but great? To soon to tell, my dear.
