No-ooo, some of us just have to make life frustrating by making price comparisons post purchase, why? Shouldn't that be something we do prior purchase?
I suspect this kind of people (also) makes the worst kind of friends. Imagine, you go out and blow two and half months pay on a Prada bag, looking forward to showing off your latest blood-sweat-n-tears acquisition and I bet this will be exactly the kind of people who will rain on your Prada by saying, "oh I got my Prada for a lot less . . . ".
When that happens, you have my permission to take her out, by a contract-killer, that is.
Speaking of taking someone out, you might want to do it in October for it is Good Food Month (yay!) and one of the major highlight is the World Chef Showcase Weekend (Oct 9 -11) – bringing together Sydney's biggest culinary stars as well as chefs from some of the best restaurants in the world. Go here for more info.
Speaking of food, I was in Newtown for a quickie lunch and was on my way home when I saw Poetry Man, again, after a long absence. So, I went up for a chat and now Poetry Man has a name added to his face; Neil Andrew Granger and I have to laugh (quietly to myself) because it occurred to me his initials read as NAG.

Anyway, Poetry Man laughed as well when I told him I'd take two books of his poetry. At $5 a pop, I thought it was a steal, and also a much more meaningful exchange compared with the woman who wanted me to put spare change in her outstretched hands.
