Pancake + Maple Syrup + Bacon = More please!










Of late, I cannot mention the words, pancake, maple syrup and bacon in the same breath without salivating unstoppably. And I have the good people at the Du Jour Restaurant in Canberra to thank for this. I have not looked back ever since I sank my teeth into Du Jour's buttermilk pancakes laden with crispy, savoury bacon drowned in a sea of gluey maple syrup. It's that good!

After returning to Sydney, I have tried (more or less) the same pancake+maplesyrup+bacon (PMB) combo at four separate cafes, and still counting. But I reckon the best one so far is still the one in Du Jour.
