A piece of cake

I like cakes. Can't bake, won't bake, but will eat cake. Then again, there are cakes and there are cakes, so I hasten to add I only like cakes that likes me. Or rather, cakes that are like me; irresistibly good looking and having great taste.

:-)

You can therefore say I am superficial, I have no problems with that. It is my choice to be so, and I most certainly don't go pontificating on why the rest of the world should follow (me) or else perish culinary-wise.

Unlike this woman I heard on the wireless one Saturday morning not so long ago when she rang in to say, "I only eat healthy food that's good for my body, and don't give a damn about how they look . . . unlike those wanker of a food show on TV focusing on looks and not substance . . . blah, blah, blah." Okay, I am a bit slow today but is it necessary to choose one culinary virtue over another? Why can't we have both; healthy food can look great too. The two are not competing attributes, in fact they work best when hand in hand.

And here are some cakes you might want to dip your hands into:

A most dishy Marg Simpson in a bubble bath . . . cake, yes, good enough to eat. Don't you just love the rainbow hair, how gay is that!

Yes, you do need one - an iPhone cake

Yes, you do want one - beefcake.

This is for the woman-caller . . .
